In the middle of summer you may want ice cream. My wife, Hillary did! She asked me to make some Shakeology Ice Cream since I make my shakes so think anyway. So, I’m posting up a recipe with the healthiest meal of the day made like ice cream style! With a Reese’s Peanut Butter  twist!
It’s a great treat to have something delicious and super healthy for you! Here’s the recipe. Just make sure you are using healthy ingredients to make it the healthiest meal of the day (or at least the healthiest snack of the day).

Chocolate Shakeology Ice Cream Recipe – Reese’s Style (The Perfect dessert any time!!)
Shakeology Ice Cream:

  • 1 to 1.5 cups of almond milk or fat free milk. Water works too.
  • 1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1 Tbsp. Peanut butter or PB2
  • 6 ice cubes or 1 cup (or whatever thickness you desire)!

 

Preparation:
Put all ingredients into blender or use a food processor with an s blade. Blend on low for 15 seconds. Then blend on high for 30 seconds. Finish blending on low for 15 seconds. Eat immediately or put in freezer for about 2 hours. Add more ice if you need it thicker.

Enhance it: Use PB2 to back some small peanut butter chunks and freeze them separately. Then fold into the ice cream after it is all blended. I also lightly dusted the top of the ice cream with a little PB2. Kind of like adding extras like they do at Cold Stone Creamery!

IDEA: Use Popsicle holders (buy at Target, Amazon, etc). Kind of like a  Resses fudgesicle!

Peanut Butter Chunk Shakeology

In a blender place
1 Scoop Chocolate Shakeology
6 oz Water (or almond milk or skim milk)
1 Tbsp of organic natural peanut butter
Big scoop of ice (to make nice and thick!)

Blend to chocolatey goodness
Spoon into a glass

Add
1 Tbsp of organic natural peanut butter cut into small chunks into the glass

Eat Spoonfuls and Enjoy

Fudgy Frozen Oat Bar

  • 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut, cashew or almond butter
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats, cooked and cooled

Combine all ingredients well and freeze for at least 90 minutes

Amazing muscle building protein while getting my veggie intake!

Key Lime Shakeology Pie with Greenberry Shakeology Recipe

Key Lime Shakeology Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 container tofu, silken or firm (approx 12 oz)
  • 1 scoops Greenberry Shakeology
  • 2 squeezed limes (I just got a tip to us lime zest. Thanks Keith Harris!)
  • 1 tbsp of sugar free lime jello
  • 1 tbsp of orange juice
  • 2 Philadelphia Cream Cheese Philly Minis (1/3 less fat kind)
  • 1 pre-made pie crust…Whole Foods has Whole Grain, Graham Cracker like pie crusts that are fantastic for this!
    (I used Arrowhead Mills)

Preparation:
Blend together the tofu, Greenberry Shakeology, jello, lime juice, cream cheese and OJ until smooth and creamy. Pour into pie crust and refrigerate until firm, at least one hour.

Our Lady of Manaoag Honor Drink – Winning Greenberry Shakeology Recipe

I had the sheer honor of entering my Banana Split recipe into the Shakeology “Iron Chef” competition at the Beachbody Coach Summit 2010. Four rounds, Eight blenders, 32 recipes… 16 Chocolate, 16 Greenberry. While my Chocolate blend did not win for the category, I am still pleased with how it turned out. I’m even more excited to try all the other recipes. Especially the one listed below. This is from my dear friend, Arlene. She won the Greenberry category with this recipe. I can’t wait to dig in and chug down! Thanks Arlene and congratulations on being the Shakeology Iron Chef!

Our Lady of Manaoag Honor Drink

-1 scoop Greenberry Shakeology

-1/4 milk/soy milk/almond breeze (to your taste, I used milk)

-3/4 water

-1/2 a mango

-1/4 a banana

-1 Tbl. Nonfat, non flavored yogurt

-1 Tbl. Honey (my secret ingredient- we all had like 12 items to choose from and got to bring in one “secret ingredient”)

-1 cup of ice (or to your preference)

Blend in a blender and enjoy! :)

Chocolate Shakeology Pie Recipe (I Love This amazing dessert!!)

Ingredients:

  • 1 container tofu, silken or firm (approx 12 oz)
  • 1 and 1/2 scoops Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter, natural (no sugar)
  • 2 tbsp soy milk
  • 1 pre-made pie crust…Whole Foods has Whole Grain, Graham Cracker like pie crusts that are fantastic for this!
    (I used Arrowhead Mills)

Preparation:
Blend together the peanut butter, silken tofu, chocolate Shakeology and soy milk in blender until smooth and creamy, adding a bit more soy milk if necessary. Pour into pie crust and refrigerate until firm, at least one hour.

Greenberry Shakeology Pie Recipe – Happy St. Patty’s Day!

OK, So this was an experiment. I already ate 2 slices! :)

Please embellish and make it your own. Greenberry lovers are going to be rocking the Irish!

Greenberry Shakeology Pie (PTs version)

Ingredients:
•1 container tofu, silken or firm (approx 12 oz)
•1 and 1/2 scoops Greenberry Shakeology
•1 cup mashed banana
•1 tsp vanilla extract
•1 pre-made pie crust…Whole Foods has Whole Grain, Graham Cracker like pie crusts (I had Arrowhead Mills)
•1/4 packet of banana flavored sugar free pudding mix.
Preparation:
Blend together the banana, silken tofu, Greenberry Shakeology and vanilla in a food processor (or blender) until smooth and creamy. Pour into pie crust and refrigerate until firm, at least one hour.

UPDATE: Gotten some feedback for suggestions as this was my first time thru on this one. The Chocolate Shakeology Pie turned out stellar. This one needs some thickeners.
“add a little of your famous almond butter for thickener (instead of a more stiff tofu) and to add a nice nutty flavor to compliment the banana and berry”

  • 8 oz water (or soy milk or skim milk)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 large frozen strawberries
  • 2 fresh pineapple rings (or chunked pineapple)
  • 1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
  • 1 scoop ice Blend

Shakeology

Dessert Time!

pumpkins and hay 7Crustless Pumpkin Pie

  • 1 12-oz pkg silken tofu
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 1-oz box sugar-free, fat-free vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Add all ingredients to a large bowl and blend until smooth.  Refrigerate before serving.

Ready in 1 hour – Makes 4 servings, 90 cals per serving

Pumpkin Pie Shakeology Bars
(recipe needs tweaking. Next time I’m following the shake recipe below along with oatmeal)

  • 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder (I’m going
  • 1 cup pumpkin
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats, cooked and cooled

Combine all ingredients well and freeze for at least 90 minutes

Pumpkin Pie Shakeology

  • 1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
  • 1 cup rice, soy, almond, or low-fat milk (plain or vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin, unsweetened
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • Ice (optional)
