Schedule Your Day Around Your Workout

This is exactly what I do in order to get results for my fitness. Get the workout done and then let the day unfold. I talk to many people about what they are looking for when it comes to their health. Many state, “I know I need to, but I don’t have time.” So, I press on and ask them to tell me about their day.

Almost every time I hear all of these things fill a day without giving themselves time to breathe. Time for themselves. And they need it! Their family needs it.

So, a good question to ask might be: “What if nothing else in your day could happen until you got your workout done?” I actually know the answer because I have done this for years. I always got up a little early so I could get my workout in. You know what? It works! And the rest of the day’s activities always seem to still fit into the schedule nicely.

One of my dear friends (who happens to be my Beachbody Coach), Ronda Hendrix, used to do the same thing to get her results. She told me that she wouldn’t allow herself to eat until she got her workout done. Hmmm, now that’s motivation! And she lost 79 pounds with Power 90 as a result!

So, we all have the same 24 hours in a day and we all have busy lives. With fitness programs like Ten Minute Trainer, Power Half Hour and others, there is no “I don’t have time” excuse.

Start putting yourself first and schedule your day around your workout and you’ll be getting results and go the rest of your day with more focus, energy and efficiency!

P90X Part 2, P90neXt, P90X: MC2, P90X the next generation…

After I completed Power 90 in 2003 I was looking on the horizon of a new program Beachbody was going to put out for us P90 grads. In 2004 I had the pleasure of being in the first group of P90Xplorers and we forged on wondering where this 90 day program would take us. With intense workouts that left no muscle untouched we saw changes happen with our strength and flexibility every week. We watched the rep count increase as we recorded our results on our daily logs. And yes, we learned many lessons on how to eat properly to fuel our bodies for such an intense workout.
