My wife, Hillary, had signed up for this 100 Day Challenge by Gary Ryan Blair. Gary is known as “The Goals Guy.” Each day Hillary would get a message in her INBOX with a link to a daily video. The videos were short and sweet and gave you deep insights into accomplishing your goals as well as doable action steps to take advantage of the last 100 days of the year. “Start Fast and Finish Strong,” was what I heard each day as she played the videos.

I Was Too Busy For The 100 Day Challenge

Now, Hillary invited me to participate in the challenge with her, but I had so much on my plate that I decided to set my goals aside and keep doing what I was doing. Well, I would watch Hillary plug into Gary’s message each day and she would jot down notes here and there. To be honest, Hillary was just as busy, if not busier than I was. Still, she carved out the time to do the short daily activities and to push herself to do more, become more, achieve more.100 Day Challenge

I Jumped On Board With The 100 Day Challenge

In time I began to join Hillary on this challenge and really found some powerful nuggets that helped me with my own goals and desires to get results.

Literally, around day 40 of the 100 Day Challenge, Hillary’s actions started to kick in as a few opportunities came her way. I know it would have been easy for her to stay in the status quo and just continue to do what she has always done. Yet something magnetic seemed to draw both of us in. Something way out of our comfort zones.

In the video below, Hillary shares how the 100 day challenge helped her increase her income by over $30,000. There is no doubt without the push of this 100 Day Challenge, she would still be doing the same things she has for years.

  1. WHAT specific goal do you want to achieve? Be precise or don’t bother moving to the next step.
  2. WHY is the achievement of this goal(s) so important? Be clear on the key drivers an motivation or the first obstacle will be your undoing.
  3. WHO will help you to achieve this goal? Be sure that these are the right people, with the right talents and intentions.
  4. WHERE do you currently stand in relation to this goal? Be ruthless and identify the size of the performance gap.
  5. HOW do you plan on accomplishing this goal? Be deliberate, identify the exact steps, tasks, and assign responsibility.
  6. WHEN will victory be claimed? Be committed, enforce your deadline, and follow one course until successful.
